Meet Our Junior Board
The next generation making a difference!
TSVF's Junior Board helps identify, develop and provide input to programming to be delivered by the foundation by gaining youth input and perspective on their peer’s challenges. Our goal is to grow TSVF’s youth outreach and community engagement, promote healthy communication between peers and provide for an opportunity for youth and teen participation in the foundation through specific projects, as well as by providing input to the Board of Directors.

I’m a freshman in college at The City College of New York majoring in Political Science and International Relations with a Minor in Human Rights as well as the President of our lovely Junior Board. I’ve been ‘Prez’ for two years now, and it’s been such an honor - This foundation means so much to me and keeps me grounded. #kindnessiskey

I’m a freshman Pre-Med Health Sciences major at Hofstra University and I’ve been a part of the board for two years now. One fun fact about me is that I songwriter, sing and play the ukulele. I joined TSVF because I’m extremely passionate about raising awareness for mental health and more importantly just reminding everyone that they’re never alone in the struggles they face. I’m so honored to be a part of an organization that truly cares about the well-being of young people in today’s time!

I’m in 8th Grade at Candlewood Middle School. I have been with TSVF for a little less than a year. Something about me is that I love all things nerd, Star Wars, Dungeons and Dragons, and I also love theater and acting. I love helping TSVF because I think of how it feels when someone says that they care about you. Thats me!

I am a junior at High School East and it is my first year on the TSVF Junior Board. I am extremely passionate about promoting mental health awareness as personally I have faced many mental health struggles and many of these struggles have also personally affected many of my friends and family members. I love being part of a foundation where I can help to de-stigmatize mental health issues. One fun fact about me is that I have danced competitively for 10 years!! I am looking forward to working with the foundation this year!

I’m a sophomore at High School West. I'm 15 years old and this is my first year on the TSVF junior board. I first grew interest in this organization last year when we would talk about it during lunch, and the meaning behind it seemed really positive and sweet to me. So I decided to join the board as a member. One fun fact about me is that i love collecting pens!

I’m 17 and a senior at High School East. This is my first year on the Junior Board but I have been volunteering with the foundation for a while. I’m super passionate about spreading mental health awareness. A fun fact about me is I have a guinea pig named Sonic <3 and a dog named Finn. My favorite artists are The 1975 and the Arctic Monkeys.
