Mental Health Awareness & Training

 

• TSVF provided financial support to deliver the We Are All A Little Crazy foundation Same Here program to classes in six (6) school districts on Long Island.  This program support will continue in 2021.

• Youth Mental Health First Aid Course Delivery – Our TSVF YMJHF certified instructors delivered the first class in February this year.  Due to the Covid pandemic, the two additional courses which were scheduled had to be cancelled.  Training will resume in January 2021 with social distancing and safety protocols in place.

• TSVF sponsored the delivery of the “Motiv8” Program by Sheira Brayer at the Suffolk JCC.

 

Mental Health Support & Tools

• TSVF developed Wellness Kits for Educators.  100 Boxes were prepared, valued at a cost of $100 per box.  The program was launched in January 2021.

 

Youth Empowerment

• Keith Senzer delivered “Oh Shift” virtual sessions for middle school and high school students.

 

Other

• Two Paint Night Fundraisers were held.

• The Annual Fundraiser Dinner, which was schedule for October 2020 had to be cancelled.  We are hoping to hold the next annual fundraiser dinner in October 2021.
